Every preparer is a tax professional, who has gone through extensive training. Unlike most income tax offices, our employees return every year, which makes your personal income tax experience much easier and personable.

Our preparers must undergo a minimum of 40 hours of extensive explanation and review of income tax laws. This is done to ensure that all tax laws and changes are fully comprehended. Every year, tax laws change, so every employee must maintain 98% attendance to all mandatory income tax classes. They then must pass a series of tests to ensure that all tax laws are understood and are being applied correctly. Once all tax laws are understood, our staff begins training on our custom designed income tax computation software. A minimum of 2 weeks is required before any preparer is allowed to complete an actual tax return. A final review and test is then administered for that employee to successfully pass the Freedom Income Tax of Monticello Tax School Course, and receive his or her certificate.

Some income tax stores only offer 1 day training for their new tax preparers, however we know that it takes many hours to prepare for each tax season and review every law and update to the new tax year.
